A 3 ingredients chocolate mousse is a dessert that includes dark chocolate, eggs and cream.

There are many chocolate mousse recipes that can vary in composition. We propose here an ultra-light recipe, without butter or sugar, particularly tasty.

1.25 cup dark chocolate 
6 eggs
2 tbsp cream

Preparation :

  • Break the chocolate into pieces and melt in a bain-marie.
  • Add the fresh cream and mix well.
  • Separate the egg whites from the egg yolks in different containers.
  • Beat the egg whites tightly with a pinch of salt.
  • Pour the chocolate mixture over the egg yolks and stir well to prevent them from cooking.
  • Gently stir the egg whites into the chocolate-egg yolk mixture.
  • Refrigerate about 4h before serving.

1 cup soy milk or coconut milk or rice milk
4 tbsp sugar
2.5 tbsp corn starch
1 tsp lemon zest
1 pinch turmeric

Preparation :

  • Put the sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan and mix with a wooden spoon.
  • Gradually add the soy milk while stirring with a whisk.
  • Transfer the saucepan to the heat and, while stirring constantly, heat over low heat for 5 to 7 minutes, while the cream thickens.
  • Flavor with lemon zest and color with turmeric.
  • Transfer the cream to a bowl and cover with plastic wrap.
  • Let cool completely before using.
